VERSURI ELVENKING
| Elvenking - A poem for the firmament |
| It's simply too hard
To blow out all these fragments of star
The dawn never shines
I'm condemned to this eternal night
Fly away, far away
Oh, whence I could feel you whole
There's a light in your e |
| Elvenking - Another haven |
| Serenity
Broken and twisted
Displaying sharp claws
in the name of liberty
Primordial greed
Disguised as good purpose
Always stood as a trademark
of our breed
History shows how to avoid all the so |
| Elvenking - Banquet Of Bards |
| Should I never roam anymore,
I'm on journey, silently the moon whispers
Words I'll be recalling
Miles away lies the unknown fate
Through dwarven lands, where the shadows
Never fall in I rest and |
| Elvenking - Conjuring Of The 14th |
| Follow down the path
It leads to a circle of houses,
Where foreigners are not well thought
And strangers unwelcome to their affairs!
The villagers (so they said) do heathen rituals
Just for a while

| Elvenking - Disappearing sands |
| At dawn the ships arrived, they sailed
through seas and foreign skies
To bring another age in lands
that needed no constraints
By the sign of the fire,
all pagan gods were bleeding
To dispossess thou |
| Elvenking - Jigsaw puzzle |
| Take a look at the new rules of this game
Wicked laughters are feeding their fame
Hearing the cries from the empty shells
Unmoved they seem
Hungry for turmoil and wedges
Ivy-clad so that we can't se |
| Elvenking - Midnight circus |
| Gone from this world
to find knowledge or pain
I follow myself from a distant
and fading dream
Loving her brightness so dear to me
it makes me to look further in
To enter a world hidden far (from h |
| Elvenking - Moonchariot |
| I built a cradle for the Moon
And from her chariot (she) grants my
boon - I'll keep my promises, I'm sure
She won't betray me
I'm bathed in her pale lightfall
Perceiving like a distant call

| Elvenking - Oakenshield |
| Oh pick up flutes and fiddles, a new tune is
beginning
A melody forsaken, on the chords of our elders'
song
Each note is telling a story, a fragment of
existence
Oh people ye who listen, sit down and he |
| Elvenking - Pathfinders |
| Stand before the new born kind
There is a song, taken far by the winds
A rhyme of poets, a melody
Wrapped in a dream
The elvensong has gone, to another realm
Stand before the new born kind

| Elvenking - The Dweller Of Rhymes |
| From the branch where he dwells and lies
Nature revealed in cloak of rhymes
A verse, hidden mirror
And from the treetop of an oak
He laughed at people down beneath
With his eyes travelling over the sc |
| Elvenking - The fiery stride |
| Follow again one single piece
of dream afar
Spent my all whole life there,
chasing the hope
A drive so strong,
so deep I cannot see the end
Inborn sense of finding
what's beyond, in the furious st |
| Elvenking - The perpetual knot |
| And this journey begins --
with the beat of wings of lark
Her wake ravishing - skyforged spark
Gold-leaves are falling, all beasts are
howling, the signs are clear!
The forces are near -
the crows |
